On 04-01-2015 a Deputy with the Barton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joel T. Cofield, age 22, of Lamar at 1003 E 7th street in Lamar on a active civil warrant out of Barton County.
On 4-01-2015 a deputy with the Barton County Sheriff’s Office went to 1203 Mill Street in Lamar to try and locate a subject with an outstanding warrant. Cassey D. Webb, age 35, of Lamar was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
On 4-01-2015 a burglary was reported at a home in Golden City. The victim advised that the locks on the home had been tampered with and damaged. The reporting party advised that there was items missing from the home. The investigation continues.
On 4-01-2015 The Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call at 336 North Stateline lane. During the investigation a subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Kevin L. True, age 31, of Pittsburg Kansas was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Jasper County for driving while revoked.
On 4-01-2015 David A. Martsolf, 26, of Joplin was incarcerated in the Jasper County Jail in Carthage Mo. Martsolf was transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the charge of violating his probation.
On 4-01-2015 Darryl L. Robinson, age 31, of Joplin was incarcerated in the Jasper County Jail in Carthage Mo. Robinson was transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the charge of violating his probation.
On 3-31-2015 the Barton County Sheriff’s Office took a complaint of medications stolen from a home located at 449 southeast 80th lane in Barton County. The reporting party in the case advised a friend had came to the home and after the friend had left the victim had found her medications missing. The investigation is ongoing in the case.
On 3-30-2015 the Barton County Sheriff’s Office investigated two burglaries in the Mindenmine’s community. The victims in the case had left town and when they returned they found where somebody had entered there homes and stolen items. Both investigations are believed to be related and the investigation is ongoing in the burglaries.
On 3-30-2015 a subject came to the Sheriff’s Office to make a complaint of property damage to his vehicle. The reporting party advised he was at a friends home when another subject left spinning his tires. When he spun his tires he threw gravel and rocks onto the reporting parties vehicle. The investigation continues in this case.
On March 28th, 2015 the Sheriff’s Office received a noise complaint from a residence located at 155 Southeast 30th road. During the investigation two subjects at the home was arrested on outstanding warrants. Shawn Micheal Long, age 28 and Angel M. Gordon, age 31 was arrested on outstanding warrants. Long was arrested on a failure to appear warrant with the original charge of driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated. Gordon was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a speeding charge.
On 3-27-2015 Forrest Wasson, age 33, of Nixa was incarcerated in the Greene County Jail in Springfield, Mo. He was transported back to the Barton County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant for non-support, and driving while revoked.
