Joplin man arrested for assault on law enforcement, threats, stealing

Highway Patrol officers arrested a Joplin man 3:56 p.m. Wednesday in Camden County on multiple charges.

According to the report, Thomas Wells, 49, is charged with three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer in the second degree, felony resisting arrest by fleeing, three counts of resisting arrest by threatening violence, stealing a watercraft, and a Newton County felony warrant for probation violation.
