JFD extinguishes shed fire at 2420 S. Willard

The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 2420 S Willard Ave, at 6:23 AM, Friday, May 01, 2015.

Fire crews arrived on the scene at 6:29 AM to find a shed with smoke coming out of the roof. The shed is actually located between Roosevelt and Willard on the alley. Crews extinguished the shed fire by 6:41 AM and remained on scene until 9:59 AM. 

Ownership information is unavailable at this time.

No injuries were reported to either fire personnel or others in the area. Six Joplin Fire units and 17 Joplin Fire personnel responded as well as JPD and METS.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
