A Carl Junction man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10 a.m. today on Peace Church Road two miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Pontiac G6 driven by Jesse L. Cordova, 27, Carl Junction, drove off the road and into a ditch after Cordova apparently fell asleep.
Cordova was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
