A Golden City woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:40 a.m. Saturday on Route K, eight miles east of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Anne-Marie Molina, 47, Golden City, drove a 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup into the path of a 2007 GMC 1500 pickup driven by Mark A. Fowler, 54, Alba, The Fowler vehicle struck the Molina vehicle, causing it to travel off the roadway and into a tree. The Molina vehicle then burst into flames.
Molina was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
