Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash 9:32 p.m. Monday on MO 96, one mile east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, driven by Amber N. Wood, 30 Crane, was stopped and disabled on MO 96 due to a previous crash. A 2003 Jeep Cherokee driven by Tamara R. Hill, 56, Carl Junction, was westbound and struck the vehicle head on in the westbound lane.
Wood was treated for serious injuries and Hill for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
