A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:40 p.m. Saturday on Route J, one mile east of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Hyundai Sonata driven by Genesis M. Navarrete, 21, Carthage, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert, a utility pole, and a fence.
Navarrete was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
Navarette was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, and no insurance.
