The upcoming edition of the Newsmakers interview program features information about the Joplin Museum Complex and plans for a Chautauqua in Joplin. The programs will feature actors portraying President Theodore Roosevelt and President Harry S Truman. During a Chautauqua performance, the actors dress and portray the characteristics of the person they are portraying while they share stories. These programs will take place on June 10 and June 11. People may call the Museum for more information at 417-623-1180.
Guests on the program are Paula Callihan and Amy Koeshall, members of the Joplin Museum Historic Board. The interview also provides information about the Joplin Museum Complex and other events planned in Joplin for early summer.

Sunday, May 29 – 5:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Monday, May 30 – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 31 – 5:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 1 – 5:30 p.m.

KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
