Joplin woman injured in two-vehicle accident near Duquesne

A Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4:15 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 66 at Kenser Road, one mile east of Duquesne.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Toyota Echo driven by Janice M. Weaver, 61, Joplin, was stopped at a light. A 1991 Toyota Camry driven by Correnna M. Gray, 42, Joplin, failed to yield and struck the rear of the Weaver vehicle.

Weaver was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
