Six, including five Neosho residents, baby injured in two-vehicle accident

Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:30 p.m. Friday on U. S. 60, one-tenth of a mile east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Honda Accord driven by Dwon M. Pina, 36, Neosho, attempted to make a left turn and pulled into the path of a 2013 Dodge Dart driven by Melanie M. Surber, 32, Neosho.

Surber and three passengers, Lavayah M. Barrett, 1, Neosho, Cynthia D. Fisher, 59, Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Alexis D. Surber, 19, Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.

Pina was treated for moderate injuries and a passenger, Mariah J. Pina, 15, Neosho, for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
