State routes to be closed in Barton County Tuesday, Wednesday

Two State Routes in Barton County

CLOSED During Daytime Hours May 3 & 4

What: Two state routes in Barton County CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to replace deteriorating drain pipes underneath the roads When/Where: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 – Route V between Route K and NW 130 Lane north of Liberal 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 – Route W between Route 160 and West Central Road west of Lamar Traffic Impacts: Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the closings.  Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closings. However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zones. Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.
