Motorcyclist injured in accident near Joplin

A Wyandotte, Oklahoma man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:25 a.m. Saturday on Route P, 1/4 of a mile west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Clyde N. Clemmons, 50, Wyandotte, overturned, struck the pavement, and came to rest on the eastbound shoulder.

Clemmons was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
