Joplin residents injured in one-vehicle accident near Seneca

Two Joplin residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:10 p.m. Wednesday on Route K, four miles east of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Chrysler Sebring driven by Courtney A. Nothnagle, 17, Joplin, slid off the right side of the roadway and struck a railroad bridge.

Nothnagle and a passenger, Amber Nothnagle, age not provided, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
