Crowder College President, Dr. Jennifer Methvin, has been appointed to the International Advisory Board of The Chair Academy. The Chair Academy is dedicated to delivering exemplary leadership development programs to college and university leaders.
“I have long valued the training I received at the start of my administrative career through The Chair Academy. The network of international colleagues provided through the experience has served me well over the years. I am honored to be asked to serve this valuable organization in an advisory capacity and to contribute to the important mission of developing future leaders in higher education,” stated Methvin.
The Chair Academy offers two distinctive programs that are competency-based training preparing mid-level leaders for their roles as administrators. The purpose is to enhance their skills and provide guidance to overcome the many challenges they would face.
Dr. Methvin joined Crowder College as its 7th president in June 2014. Prior to Crowder Methvin served as Vice Chancellor for the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope from 2005-2104. She is a graduate of the 2004-2005 New Jersey Regional Leadership Academy.
