A Noel man was charged with driving while intoxicated, following a one-vehicle accident 8:30 a.m. today on Hilltop Road, three miles west of Noel.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Sablan I. Solomon, 44, Noel, lost control on a curve, ran off the roadway and struck an embankment.
Solomon refused treatment for minor injuries and was taken to the McDonald County Jail. He was also charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway
