A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle crash 3:40 p.m. today on MO 43, five miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1992 Chevrolet Corsica driven by Lynsay N. Williams, 32, Joplin, was attempting to make a left turn when another vehicle started to pass a 1998 Honda Shadow motorcycle driven by Herbert E. Rooks, 67, Joplin, Williams sweved to miss the other vehicle and struck Rooks, who was attempting to pass on the right.
Rooks was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
