Oklahoma man charged with DWI following accident on 76

A Jay, Oklahoma man was charged with driving while intoxicated as a chronic offender following a one-vehicle accident 9:10 p.m. Sunday on MO 76, seven miles west of Anderson.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Jason E. Potter, 39, Jay, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees.

Potter, who was also charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway,  no valid driver's license, and failure to display valid plates, was treated for moderate injuries at Integris Grove Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma.
