MSSU to hold technology competition

Students from throughout the Southwest Missouri region will attend the annual Technology Student Association Conference on Friday, Feb. 17, at Missouri Southern State University.

Middle- and high-school students will compete in a variety of science, technology, engineering and mathematics competitions during the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Billingsly Student Center. Competition categories will include Technology Problem Solving, Humanoid Robotic Dance, Debating Technology Issues, Technology Bowl and Forensic Technology.

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is recognized as the Career and Technology Student Association exclusively dedicated to students interested in STEM fields. TSA allows students to demonstrate and expand their high-tech knowledge and skills. It also offers students opportunities to participate in leadership activities that will prepare them for the high-tech, science or engineering workplace.
