The police department maintains a wall that is dedicated to all the officers that have lost their lives in service to the citizens of Joplin.
On June 3, 1916, Reserve Officer Louis S. Wells, was killed in the line of duty.
Officer Wells is the only officer on the wall we do not have a photo or drawing of.
