Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:55 a.m. today on U. S. 60, two miles west of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol report, an uninvolved tractor-trailer suddenly slowed in the eastbound lane in front of a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Hailey R. Masoner, 23, Langley, Oklahoma, Masoner abruptly slowed and swerved onto the right shoulder. A 2012 Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer driven by Timothy L. Myers, 57, El Dorado Springs, also slowed and swerved onto the right shoulder, striking the Masoner vehicle in the rear.
Masoner and two passengers, Steven L. Hanley, 21, and Wynter Masoner, 2, both of Langley, Oklahoma, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
