Five teens were injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:40 p.m. today on Route H, four miles west of Pineville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Pontiac G5 driven by Kaden M. Peterson, 18, Diamond, failed to stop for a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2009 Kia Rondo driven by Maria G. Madrigal Fuentes, 23, Noel.
Peterson and four passengers in his vehicle suffered injuries.
Peterson and Brooklyn Austin, 18, Seneca, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital Joplin.
Klayton D. Quick, 18, and Shelby L. Scroggins, both of Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West.
Trey D. Smith, 19, Neosho, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
