Joplin parents search for runaway daughter, missing since Sunday

(UPDATE- Kaylee Stickrod has been found and is safe.)

Lindsey Gaw and Shane Stickrod of Joplin are searching for their 15-year-old daughter, Kaylee Stickrod, who has been missing since she ran away from the Missouri Baptist Children's Home in Mount Vernon Sunday.

Kaylee is 5-8, approximately 130 pounds and has black hair.

If you have any information about Kaylee's whereabouts, please contact the Joplin Police Department or her parents.

  1. Last I knew this juvenile was in state custody, and it was illegal to post info about her on social media.The law may have change and social media would be helpful in finding her, but it may or may not be breaking the law. FYI

    1. Law has changed and foster parents can post but it has never been illegal for family and friends to post pics/info about there own family even if they were in care.

    3. Children in states custody can be posted on social media just cannot be labeled as in states custody, so the only person who broke that was anonymous #1. Parents can put their children in a home like MBCH without the child being in states custody, just FYI

  2. I'm her mother. And ill do what I can to help find her considering I wasn't told she ran away till a day later...this is all I can do. Ive got information that ive gave to every police department. Her juvenile officer knows I've shared it and encouraged it so why dont you stay in ur lane and mind ur business.
