A Goodman woman was struck and killed by a car as she was walking across MO 59 at Roy Hill Boulevard 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Dompelihna Capelle, 66, Goodman, was attempting to cross the roadway and was struck by a 1985 Ford F150 driven by Joshua L. Letts, 44, Goodman.
Capelle was pronounced dead at the scene by McDonald County Coroner B. J. Goodwin.
The fatality was the 91st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
