Southwest City man killed, four injured, including three children, in head-on crash

A Southwest City man was killed and four people injured in a head-on crash 9:15 p.m. Thursday on MO 90, three miles east of Southwest City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Eh B. Htoo, 23, Noel, crossed the center line and struck a 2005 Chevrolet Coronado driven by Roberto Rossillo, 36, Southwest City head on.

Rosillo was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:45 p.m. by McDonald County Coroner Tracey Dowd.

Two passengers, Roberto Rossilo, 10, and Israel Serrano, 12, both of Southwest City, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

Two other passengers, Damian Rossillo, 8, and Maira Serrano, 31, both of Southwest City, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

The fatality was the 92nd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
