This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Snow risk.

DISCUSSION...

  Rain will mix with and then change to light snow beginning late
  this evening, mainly along and south of the interstate 44
  corridor. Locations across central Missouri are not expected to
  get much if any rain or snow with this system. Snow accumulations
  are expected to be an inch or less. The ground is warm from the
  recent warm stretch, which will result in the snow mainly
  accumulating on elevated surfaces. A few slushy spots will be
  possible on area roads, but overall impacts are expected to be
  low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

  The snow will end Saturday morning with only a dusting expected
  during the morning areas, mainly in areas south of interstate 44.

  There is another chance for snow on Thursday, but much
  uncertainty still exists on timing and amounts.

  Wind chills in the single digits and teens are expected at times
  from late this weekend into the middle of next week.
