Seneca man cited for DWI after crashing into tree

A Seneca man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 2:53 p.m. Saturday on MO 86, five miles west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Tarrell C. Morris, 66, Seneca, ran off the roadway and down a steep embankment striking a tree.

Morris, who was also cited for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and for not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
