Man arrested in Jasper City Park on drug charge, had small child with him

Drug Arrest at City Park

On Monday, December 4th, 2017 at around 2 p.m., a Jasper officer made contact with a 42-year-old white male, Trinity Owens, sitting at the city park, in reference to suspicious activity. The white male was observed drinking alcohol and had a small child with him.

After a search of Owens' person, a plastic container with marijuana inside was found in his pant pocket. 

Owens was arrested for possession of marijuana and taken to the Jasper County jail. The child was returned to his home and released to his parents.
