A Joplin man was injured after crashing his motorcycle into a deer 6:35 a.m. today on Jaguar Road, three miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ronald L. Gilbert, 49, Joplin, struck a deer in the roadway, throwing Gilbert from the motorcycle.
Gilbert was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
