Neosho man cited for felony DWI following accident on Iris Road

A Neosho man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 1:50 p.m. today on Iris Road, six miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Mazda Tribute driven by Jarrod Lagers, 34, Neosho, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.

A passenger, Jennifer R. Tinkham, 34, Neosho, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Lagers, who in addition to DWI was cited for felony driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving, no insurance and no seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy.
