On 9/10/2018 at approximately 5:24 p.m. deputies Kristian Dalglish and Chad McManis of the Barton County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to a physical domestic in Burgess.

The allegation was a subject was striking a pregnant woman. Upon arrival at the address deputies learned that the suspect involved in the altercation fled on foot from the address and was allegedly hiding from officers around the railroad tracks.

With the assistance from deputies of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol, a search was conducted for the individual.

He has been charged with two counts of assault for the events that took place that night. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri Highway Patrol for their assistance in this matter.
