Extreme pumpkin carver to demonstrate techniques at Joplin Public Library

Just in time for the Halloween season, extreme pumpkin carver Scott “Stormin’” Norman will demonstrate his art and share tips, tricks, and techniques at the Public Library on Wednesday, September 26. This program begins at 4 p.m. and is recommended for children fifth grade and under and their families.

Scott, who has appeared on America’s Got Talent, will teach participants various techniques such as picking the perfect pumpkin, cleaning the pumpkin with ease, and designing a masterpiece.
