Jasper County Sheriff's Office able to return stolen items to six victims following arrest of Joplin woman

Our detectives have put some serious hours on this case, and have been able to return a lot of stolen property associated with it.

On 2/24/19 Jami N. McAnally (29) of Joplin Mo., was arrested by the Pittsburg Police Department (Kansas) for being in the possession of a vehicle stolen out of Jasper County.

The Jasper County Sheriff's Deputies were able to track the vehicle to the location in Kansas, and notify the Pittsburg Police Department.








At the time of the arrest numerous stolen items were located in the vehicle. Follow-up investigations, by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, have led to approximately $18,220.00 worth of stolen items being returned to six different victims within Jasper County.

The investigation continues and charges have been submitted to the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for charges on the related cases.

    Hopefully this girl will be given more than just a slap on the wrist.
