A California man was injured in a two-vehicle crash 7:16 p.m. Wednesday on Business Loop 49, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Ford F-150 driven by James L. Smith, 84, Granby, failed to yield, made a left turn and struck a 2011 GT2 bicycle rode by Jordan M. Reader, 26, Springfield, California.
Reader was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
