Speed Networking with Joplin's Arts and Cultural Community to be held March 12

Connect2Culture (C2C), Joplin's community arts agency, will host its next roundtable event, "Speed Networking with Joplin’s Arts & Cultural Community," on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 6:00–8:00pm at Joplin Empire Market (931 E 4th St, Joplin, MO 64801).

C2C Roundtable Description: Are you a member of Joplin’s arts and cultural community? Do you desire to put names to new faces and make meaningful connections? Those that attend will have the chance to meet nearly everyone in the room at this C2C Roundtable. Come prepared to tell your story and brainstorm potential collaborations! Light appetizers and beverages will be served. Bring plenty of business cards and promotional items to share!

“We hope this event will continue to facilitate connections within Joplin’s arts and cultural community and inspire many new collaborations,” says Emily Frankoski, Community Arts Director, Connect2Culture.








Details: This event is free and open to people involved in Joplin’s arts and cultural community (i.e. employees, board members, volunteers from arts/cultural organizations/businesses and artists). Light appetizers and beverages will be served.

RSVP: Those that would like to participate are required to RSVP by March 11, 2019 by emailing info@connect2culture.org or marking themselves as “going” on the Facebook event page.

C2C Roundtables are an annual series of professional development programs that aim to educate, empower, and connect the Joplin arts and cultural community. All leaders, supporters, and advocates are welcome to attend these roundtables. Feel free to invite interested staff and board members. C2C Roundtables are a great time to learn, share, network, and establish connections.

Upcoming C2C Roundtables include a “Media Panel” on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, 6:00pm at Joplin Little Theatre (3008 W 1st St, Joplin, MO 64801), as well as the “Fourth Annual Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview” on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, 6:00pm at Joplin Public Library (1901 E 20th St, Joplin, MO 64804).
