Carthage man cited for DWI following rollover injury crash near Duenweg

A Carthage man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle crash 2:21 a.m. today 1.3 miles northeast of Duenweg.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Ford Focus driven by Sean M. O'Dell, 23, Carthage, ran off the left side of the roadway and rolled several times after striking an embankment.







A passenger, Shawn M. O'Dell, 23, Carthage, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Sean M. O'Dell was also cited for careless and imprudent driving and for not having insurance.
