Joplin teen injured in collision on W. 45th Street

A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle crash 9:10 a.m. on W. 45th Street at Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Buick LaCrosse driven by Robert D. Sill, 86, Joplin, made an abrupt stop and was struck in the rear by a 2018 Tao Tao scooter driven by Westley S. Shaner, 18, Joplin.

Shaner was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
