Neosho woman injured in accident blocking both southbound lanes on I-49 south of Joplin

A Neosho woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9 a.m. today on I-49, six miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Traci L. Chenoweth, driving a 2009 Pontiac G6, was southbound on I-49 when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway, ran off the right side of the road, returned to the road coming to stop blocking both lanes.

Chenoweth was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital.
