A Verona man was injured in a three-vehicle accident 4:57 p.m. Monday on U. S. 60, seven miles east of Granby.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 GMC Yukon driven by Janet L. Dreher, 62, Iola, Kansas, swerved to the right trying to avoid a 2015 Subaru Legacy driven by Marcus J. Jellison, 95, Verona, which was slowing to make a left turn and struck a 2016 Peterbilt truck and trailer that was parked on the shoulder.
The Dreher vehicle then struck the Jellison vehicle.
Jellison was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
