On Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 at 1625 hours, a Jasper officer made contact with a white male inside Pete’s Convenience Store in reference to suspicious activity.
The subject contacted was Justin Bowers of Lamar.
After he was detained, a search was conducted. A baggy containing about four grams of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and a syringe was found on his person. A meth pipe was found in the vehicle he was in earlier.
Bowers was arrested for possession of controlled substance, paraphernalia and DWR.
Bowers is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
