Pittsburg Public Library details online services as it remains closed

(From the Pittsburg Public Library)

For the first time in over 20 years, the Pittsburg Public Library is not publishing our traditional Calendar of Events. The COVID-19 virus has drastically changed the way we live and work—and we continue to see these changes on a daily basis.

The Pittsburg Public Library is closed until further notice. Library staff and the Board of Trustees are working closely with local government and health organizations to make the best informed decisions during this difficult time.

If you have library materials checked out, we ask that you hang on to them until the library reopens. We have extended all due dates and there are no library fines. The Library book drops are closed.
All library programs and meeting room reservations are cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Library staff are working from home and we have shifted our focus to promoting online services and making these free resources widely available to our community.

So rather than a Calendar of Events, we would like to take this opportunity
to help you make the most of what your library has to offer.

We are now issuing digital Library eCards to community members who don’t already have a PPL card.

Our staff are working online to assist with logins, answer questions, and help as many people as possible instant access to library resources.

Please like Pittsburg Public Library on Facebook for up-to-date library information and helpful info for our users.
