(From the City of Sarcoxie)The City has received questions over the past few weeks about the playground equipment that has recently been removed from Stebbins Park.
The Park Board and Public Works Department are working to bring continued improvements to the park.
Several park attractions have been removed at this time to prepare for the arrival of new equipment and the restoration of an old favorite, the ladybug. The Park Board has made recent purchases of new equipment which will make the park safer and more enjoyable.
In the upcoming weeks the city is preparing for bids for a new bathroom. This bathroom will be closer to the park equipment and the newly constructed pavilion. The Park Board is hopeful to make the bathroom open year round.
All of these current and future improvements are part of the Stebbins Park Improvement Plan.
