Seneca woman, Fairland woman, two children injured in collision on 43


Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on MO 43, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Dodge pickup driven by Heather M. Macy, 41, Fairland, Oklahoma, was stopped to make a turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2003 Ford F150 driven by Jane L. Heath, 83, Seneca.







Heath was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Macy and two passengers in her vehicle, a nine-year-old boy and a one-year-old girl, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
