(From the Sarcoxie Police Department)

On 11/1/21 at 0100 hours, Chief Corum conducted a pedestrian check on a white male around the 1600 block of Center Street. It was clear that the male was giving false information but was free to leave.
Further investigation showed that the male was Darrell Long of Sarcoxie, Mo. It is believed he was residing at a residence on Bridgeview Road. Long had a felony probation violation out of Lawrence County.

Chief contacted Jasper County Deputies to assist in locating Long at 1622 Clarence.

When contact was made at the residence Thane Wagoner of Sarcoxie, MO, was located. Wagoner had a felony warrant for stealing out of Jasper County plus Sarcoxie and Webb City warrants. Access was denied for law enforcement to enter the home.

Entry was made into the residence through an unsecured door where Long and Wagoner were taken into custody without further incident.

Both were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.
