Three Joplin residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 10:25 a.m. Thursday on Schifferdecker Avenue at North Peace Church one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Ford F350 driven by John D. Pietrzk, 72, Joplin, traveled through the intersection and struck a 2003 Ford Escape driven by Bethanee S. Watts, 18, Joplin.
Wattts and Pietrzk were treated for moderate injuries and a passenger in the Wattts vehicle, Danielle Watkins, 19, Joplin, for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
