A Lockwood teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:40 a.m. Monday on Route E, eight miles northeast of Lockwood.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford Expedition driven by a 17-year-old Lockwood boy ran off the roadway. overturned, struck a fence and a tree and came to rest partially in a pond.
The boy was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
