A Baxter Springs, Kansas man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:25 a.m. today on MO 43, two miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Ford Taurus driven by Bryan D. Miller, 54, Baxter Springs, struck a deer in the roadway.
Miller was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
