Carthage residents injured in collision on Fairview Avenue

Two Carthage residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision 3:35 p.m. Thursday on Fairview Avenue, one mile west of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Kia Forte driven by Faith A. Duvall, 18, Carthage, failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2008 Ford F350 driven by Toney L. Baker, 47, Joplin.








Duvall was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.

A passenger in the Duvall vehicle, Drew M. Newman, 26, Carthage, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
