Four, including two children, injured in crash on 171

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on MO 171, two miles north of Asbury.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 F150 driven by Brandi Hendricks, 26, Batesville, Arkansas, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck in the driver's side by a 2014 Kia Sorento driven by Myranda R. Alexander, 20, Pittsburg, Kansas.

Hendricks was treated for moderate injuries and two passengers in  her vehicle, a 5-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Alexander was treated for minor injuries at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas.
