Two Joplin residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:30 p.m. Thursday on MO 249, one mile north of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2022 Kia Stinger driven by Michael D. Hobson, 53, Joplin, struck a deer in the roadway.
Hobson and a passenger, Brandy Hobson, 51, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
