Joplin man arrested for felony DWI following injury crash on Saginaw Road

 A Joplin man was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge following a one-vehicle accident 7:24 p.m. Friday on Saginaw Road, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Toyota Highlander driven by James D. Adams, 33, Joplin, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the road and overturned.

Adams, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
